Roundtable for Australian Civil Society (RACS)

Background

RACS has been established as part of a project funded by the National Office of the Information Economy (NOIE) to provide inputs from the Australian Civil Society into the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS – http://www.itu.int/wsis). RACS has developed a position paper for submission to WSIS 2003 from meetings with stakeholders in Canberra and Melbourne and from electronic inputs from various stakeholder groups.

Appended below is the draft program for the RACS workshop/meeting to be held at Rydges Resort in Caloundra. The meeting follows on from the ITiRA conference and you can register for this at http://www.itira.cqu.edu.au. There is no registration cost for the RACS workshop/meeting for RACS members and catering will be provided.

Would you please advise Desleigh Brook (d.brook@cqu.edu.au) of your attendance so that we can finalise catering.
